March 1 Num. 25-28 & Hebrews 4:14-5:10

The God of the Israelites demanded their faithful worship and adherence to the law he set before them. As the laws led them to live in God may we see in the ten commandments, the Beatitudes and other teachings in the scriptures the way to life. Not punishment or judgment but life. All the passages on the descendants and clans give us an opportunity to reflect on our lineage. What do you remember from past generations about their faithfulness? What would you desire to pass on to the next generation?

We are so blessed to have a Savior that experienced our life and knows it’s pitfalls. So when we find ourselves in trouble, Jesus knows our weaknesses, yet without sin. So he can aid us to overcome our sin. Come to our aid, Lord Jesus?
